Warranty & Returns – IMC
Buying from IMC means warranted spare parts for marine and industrial engines. Every product—new, used or reman—is covered by clear and transparent warranty terms.
🆕 Warranty – New parts
- Warranty is subject to the manufacturer’s terms.
- It covers manufacturing defects present at installation only.
- Subsequent malfunctions are assessed by the manufacturer case by case.
- Opening a claim requires specific technical information (diagnosis, install parameters, etc.).
- If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, the part will be replaced or refunded.
- IMC contacts the manufacturer and manages the claim on your behalf.
🔄 Warranty – Used & Reman
- Parts are tested and verified by our technicians before sale.
- Limited 30-day warranty, valid for correct operation at installation.
- Excluded: defects due to normal wear or incorrect installation.
- For later malfunctions, warranty is assessed by IMC case by case.
📌 Common terms
- Warranty becomes void if installation does not follow the manufacturer’s specs or in case of unauthorized modifications.
- Excluded: labor, downtime, removal and re-installation costs.

Order number, engine serial number, nameplate photo, fault description, install parameters and conditions (torques, circuit cleanliness, etc.).
❓ How long does processing take?
It depends on the manufacturer and the completeness of data. IMC submits the request within 1–2 business days after receiving complete documentation.
❓ Can I exercise the right of withdrawal?
Where applicable to EU consumers, withdrawal is possible within 14 days (excluding made-to-order/custom parts and sealed goods not suitable for return for hygiene reasons if opened). See Terms of sale for details.
